Proove Genomics
Privacy Policy
Last updated: October 3, 2026
Proove Genomics, Inc. (“Proove,” “we,” “us”) respects your privacy. This policy explains what information this website collects, how we use it, and the choices you have.
Scope of this policy
This policy covers the public website at www.proove.com. It does not cover the ProoveAI Portal at portal.proove.com, where patients and clinicians register, order tests and view results. The portal has its own privacy terms, and lab test results are protected health information handled under HIPAA and our Notice of Privacy Practices.
Information we collect
- Contact form: your name, email address, subject and message.
- Proove AI chat: the questions you type and the conversation needed to answer them.
- Technical data: our hosting provider automatically processes standard request data such as IP address, browser type and pages requested, to deliver the site and keep it secure.
This website does not use advertising cookies, tracking pixels or analytics tools. We do not ask for, and you should not enter, personal health information on this website.
How we use it
- To reply to messages you send through the contact form.
- To generate answers to your questions in the Proove AI chat.
- To operate, secure and improve the website.
- To meet legal obligations.
Who we share it with
We use a small number of service providers who process data on our behalf:
- Google Cloud and Firebase, to host the website and run the chat service.
- Google's Gemini AI service, to generate chat answers from your question.
- Resend, to deliver contact form messages to our team by email.
We do not sell your personal information or share it for cross-context behavioral advertising. We may disclose information when required by law or to protect the rights and safety of Proove Genomics and others.
How long we keep it
Chat conversations are not saved to a database by this website. They are kept in your browser only until you close or reload the page. Contact form messages are kept in our email system for as long as needed to respond and to keep normal business records.
Your privacy rights
Depending on where you live, including California and other U.S. states with privacy laws, you may have the right to know what personal information we hold about you, to get a copy, to correct it, to delete it, and to opt out of its sale or sharing. We do not sell or share personal information, and we will not discriminate against you for exercising these rights.
To make a request, email customerservice@proove.com. We may need to confirm your identity before acting on it.
Security
The website is served only over encrypted HTTPS connections, and access to the information you send us is limited to staff who need it. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Children
This website is intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 through this website. Testing for minors, including KidSafe tests, is arranged by a parent, guardian or clinician through the ProoveAI Portal.
